Now, Honda fansite Temple of VTEC reports that a memo sent to dealerships states that a four-cylinder Accord Crosstour is on the way, arriving at some point later this year. Details about the four-cylinder Honda Accord Crosstour were not divulged, but we would assume that it’s the same 2.4-liter engine currently found in the Accord sedan.

Hyundai Elantra gets 2010 Buzz Award as an economical vehicle. This year’s “most buzzed” automotive list is dominated by economical cars. Luxury brands, including Mercedes-Benz and Lexus, have been replaced by vehicles from Hyundai and Volkswagen. Topping the list is the Hyundai Elantra compact sedan and hitting the charts at number four is another economical vehicle from the Korean automaker; the Accent.

Honda brought down the price of a leather-lined four-cylinder model and added some seat heaters for good measure. So it’s not special, but the Accord SE is certainly a good combination of features and comfort at a reasonable price point. There were no SUVs with navigation systems or minivans with DVD players. So, it is family car that will run forever, add a pleasant interior and they will come.

Yesterday, Honda introduced the Japanese domestic market version of its new Fit (Jazz in Europe) Hybrid alongside the regular Fit model. It for the 2011 model year from a minor cosmetic refresh and equipment upgrades.

Honda updated 2011 Honda Accord sedan and coupe models for North America, and then today released the refreshed JDM version of the saloon that goes by the name Inspire in Japan. The the Inspire already featured the 2011 Accord’s reflector extensions at the back, Honda focused its attention on the front end that receives the same treatment with new grille and bumper designs as the American model. The JDM car also gets newly styled 17-inch alloy wheels.
