Sino-foreign joint venture in China to make a sedan car the Chevrolet Sail. The plan will be sold in China and exported to other developing markets. The new small car was developed by Shanghai GM and the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), both GM-SAIC joint ventures.
