2011 MG 6 has been designed to capture the character of the MG brand and bring something different to the volume market. The launch took place at the 2009 Guangzhou Auto show in China and is the beginning of an exciting new global future for the MG brand. The launch in China, the world’s largest automotive market begins the international roll out of sales of MG 6 which includes the UK. Sales in China will begin in January and plans for the UK and other markets will be released during 2010.

MG has the opportunity to introduce ZERO Concept at the Beijing Motor Show 2010.  It’s a thinly disguised concept of an upcoming production model in the supermini segment -most likely called MG3- that could go on sale in China first and then in Europe as early as next year. The company emphasized the fact that the 4m long supermini was developed in the UK by MG Global Design team.
